Outpatient Treatment

We understand that sometimes the road to recovery can be made less fearful if made part of your established routines. Samaritan Daytop Village’s Outpatient Treatment Programs allow you to continue to work, remain in school, and stay in your home and community, while receiving treatment confidentially for mental health disorders, and drug and alcohol dependency.

Our Outpatient Treatment Programs serve those with recent or current substance use disorders who do not require residential treatment. Individuals receive one-on-one counseling and group therapy services.

Based on an individualized service plan, our treatment teams are prepared to deliver addiction counseling, coordinate health and mental health services, and provide education and employment assistance. To support recovery for families, our Outpatient Treatment Programs also offer on-site childcare and parenting workshops.

Additionally, we offer innovative care models in an outpatient setting for patients with a specific set of treatment needs. Among them are federally funded Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics and State-funded Comprehensive Integrated Opioid Treatment Services. At several of our transitional housing sites, we also offer a mobile outpatient unit called Assertive Community Treatment.

Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics

Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHCs) are specially designated programs designed to transform the way behavioral healthcare is delivered.

CCBHCs provide a comprehensive range of mental health and substance use disorder services to people of all ages — regardless of their ability to pay, where they live, or their diagnosis.

Our CCBHCs are built on a model of integrated, person-centered care. They combine behavioral health services with primary healthcare. Based on this system of care, CCBHCs can better address the health of the whole person – mind and body – for improved outcomes.

Services are trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and designed to reduce barriers to care, especially for underserved communities.

Key Features:

  • 24/7 crisis services and risk screening
  • Treatment for mental health and substance use disorder, including for co-occurring conditions
  • Integrated care coordination with primary care, housing, employment, and social services
  • On-site psychiatric services and medication management
  • Family and peer support services
  • Emphasis on evidence-based practices, quality improvement, and health equity

Our commitment as a CCBHC is to ensure that every individual receives accessible, timely, and high-quality care that supports recovery, resilience, and overall wellness.

Comprehensive Integrated Opioid Treatment Services

Our Comprehensive Integrated Opioid Treatment Program (CIOTP) is a comprehensive outpatient service model that offers fully integrated care for individuals with opioid use disorder, co-occurring mental health conditions, and other substance use disorders.

IOTP combines FDA-approved medications for addiction treatment (MAT) with mental health services, individual and group counseling, psychiatric care, and care coordination — all delivered in a flexible, person-centered outpatient setting.

Our interdisciplinary team provides culturally responsive and trauma-informed care that promotes stability, wellness, and recovery.

  • MAT including buprenorphine, methadone, and naltrexone
  • On-site psychiatric evaluation and medication management
